Receive BISP Payment Through Six Banks
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has introduced a new method for distributing payments to eligible beneficiaries. As of 2025, payments will now be distributed through six different banks across Pakistan. This step has been taken to make it easier, safer, and more transparent for beneficiaries, especially women, to receive their financial support without standing in long queues or dealing with agents.

Previously, BISP payments were collected through HBL ATMs or cash centers. However, due to complaints of delays, deductions, and inconvenience, the Government of Pakistan partnered with six major banks to improve the system.
Why the Change in BISP Payment Method?
Many beneficiaries faced issues like
-
Long waiting times at cash centers
-
Delays in payments
-
Unnecessary deductions
-
Unavailability of staff or agents
To address these problems, the government made an agreement with six banks to disburse Benazir Income Support Program funds directly through biometric verification at bank branches, ATMs, or partner agents.
